EIC’s Defender™ Series Clamshell Style Transit Cases are rugged & dependable cooling systems designed to protect electronic equipment in the harshest environments. Designed to meet the demands of the U.S. armed forces and Department of Homeland Security on land, in the air, and at sea – protecting their communication, encryption, surveillance and other electronic gear from damaging heat, dust, moisture, and corrosion.
Suitable for a wide range of military and defense applications, cases are offered in both Rack-mount and standard case (Clamshell) styles and are available with a variety of options. Rack-mount frames can be mounted inside the case for your rack-mount gear and positioning can be vertical or horizontal with either flush or through mounting.
A built-in thermoelectric air conditioner provides the cooling needed to maintain safe temperatures within the cases. Units are shipped as a complete package. Featured benefits include:
